About us

What does traveling mean to us?

Traveling is experiencing. Each country is different – people, food, climate, language…

Traveling for us is more, it’s what brought us together and it’s what will be with us throughout our whole life.

Living as an intercultural couple makes us travel just so we can see each other, how lucky we are that we both found our passion in traveling. We live three nationalities and we are happy that we can share our countries characteristics with each other and now also with you.

Our personal story

Leandra

I am Leandra, born in 1994 with a turkish mother and a german father. The first flight I took was with 6 month, the first flight alone to my turkish family was with 14 and since then I couldn’t stop traveling on my own anymore. Poland, Usa, Morocco and Turkey are only a few of the countries I’ve travelled too. Compared to Matthew I would call myself the more convenient traveller but who knows?! This might change in the future.

The most important for me during travels is to connect with locals, experience food culture and a good mix of the most visited places of a city but also the more hidden and secrets spots known by the locals.

Matthew

I’m a Belgian raised in Ypres. I’ve travelled Europe with my parents since I was a child and catched the love for travelling very early. Once I gratuated from photography school I started working as a commercial photographer. As soon as I had some money saved up I booked my first flight outside of Europe.
This brought me to Myanmar, a stunning and adventurous destination. A start of much more to come.

I love to travel with a flexible itinerary and an open mind and heart. Lead by encounters and coincidences. As free as possible.

My favourite thing about travelling is submerging myself in different cultures and traditions. Experiencing the country from a local’s perspective.
These experiences have taught me countless lessons about happiness, hospitality, love and dreams.
